Doce de Abobara (Brazilian Pumpkin Squash Preserve)

Doce de Abobara, a pumpkin or squash preserve, is a very popular Brazilian holiday side dish which is perfect to make for Easter. It is perfect for placing on some toasted bread or used in conjunction with many different desserts to add a sweet and unique taste with a wonderfully smooth pumpkin texture.
